Sometimes it’s good to be bad. This salad dressing is very, very good - and that’s bad, because it’s high-fat! Nonetheless, it’s so delicious that I enjoy it as a special treat. Prepare this salad exactly as written. You’ll love it!
4 - 5 c. mixed salad greens
10 strips of bacon, fried extra crisp, well-drained of fat and crumbled (see Note)
20 cherry tomatoes, halved
½ c. finely chopped red onion
Toss salad ingredients. Serve on chilled individual plates, with Avocado Salad Dressing (see my nearby post dated May 2, 2011).
Note: Don't use artificial bacon bits in this recipe.
