Cinnamon Crinkles

These delicious cookies are very quick to make! With just four  ingredients, what could be simpler?

Cinnamon Crinkles:

½ c. butter or margarine, softened
¼ c. sugar
1 c. flour

Cream butter and sugar together until sugar is fully incorporated and no grainy feeling remains when you rub a small piece of mixture between thumb and index finger. Beat in flour until well mixed. Form into balls and roll in Cinnamon Sugar (see below). Flatten cookies with the base of a lightly floured glass. Space flattened cookies about 1/2-inch apart. Bake for 10-to-12 min. at 325 F, or until edges are lightly browned. Let cool 5 min. on baking sheet before removing to rack. Makes about a dozen.

To Prepare Cinnamon Sugar:

2 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. ground cinnamon

Shake sugar and cinnamon together in a small covered jar until well mixed. This sugar is also delicious on buttered toast.
