Rosalie’s Berry-Cream Delight

This is one of those gorgeous desserts that wows ’em, every time! It’s tremendously simple to make, but tastes like it came from a gourmet restaurant. I cannot imagine a finer ending to a delicious Valentine’s Day dinner!

Rosalie’s Berry-Cream Delight:

Strawberries

Granulated sugar

Grand Marnier or orange brandy

Raspberries

Vanilla ice cream … all, in quantities as required

Lightly sugar fresh, sliced strawberries, adding a little Grand Marnier. Set aside. In a separate bowl, lightly sugar fresh or thawed raspberries. When sugar has fully dissolved, blenderize raspberries with a little Grand Marnier, combining with sliced strawberries. Chill and marinate 1 hr.

For each serving, place one scoop of ice cream into a dessert cup, ladling with berry mixture.
