Chocolate-Cherry Creams

This is one of those decadent delights that makes a beautiful holiday gift! Give yourself “permission” to enjoy one, yourself!

Chocolate-Cherry Creams:

1 c. plus 1 tbsp. semi-sweet chocolate chips
½ c. evaporated milk
2-½ c. sifted icing sugar
⅓ c. chopped maraschino cherries, drained and blotted dry
⅓ c. chopped walnuts
1-¼ c. sweetened, shredded coconut


Combine chocolate chips and milk in medium, heavy saucepan, stirring over low heat until chocolate is completely melted. Remove from heat, beating in icing sugar, cherries, and walnuts. Chill dough about an hour, or until firm enough to handle. Shape into balls and roll in coconut. Store in airtight container in fridge. Yields 30 1-in. balls.
