It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! This Yuletide recipe originates with the December, 2006 edition of Martha Stewart’s Everyday Food. I’ve made a couple of minor
changes, but the basic recipe is hers. As an optional addition, you may want to try ¼ oz. peppermint schnapps in each mug.
Martha’s Peppermint Hot Chocolate:
4 c. whole milk
½ c. semisweet chocolate chips
7 peppermint sticks (3 crushed to make ¼ c.; 4 left whole)
