Dairy-Free Summer Smoothie:
2 ripe bananas, peeled and chunked
4 slices ripe cantaloupe (“rockmelon”), peeled and chunked
2 ripe apricots, unpeeled, pitted and halved
¼ c. orange juice
2 tbsp. raw sugar (“turbinado” sugar), optional
Place all ingredients in blender goblet. Purée at high speed until no lumps remain. Serves 2.
