Make-Ahead Slaw:
24 oz. (680 g) coleslaw mix
Coleslaw Dressing:
1/4 c. (60 mL) granulated sugar
1/4 c. (60 mL) apple cider vinegar
1/4 tsp. (1.25 mL) salt
1/4 tsp. (1.25 mL) celery seed
3/4 c. (180 mL) mayonnaise
Unpackage coleslaw mix into large work bowl. In small saucepan, combine sugar, vinegar, salt, and celery seed. Bring to gentle boil 1 min., or just until sugar dissolves. Cool 10 min., Gradually add to mayonnaise, stirring well after each addition. Pour over coleslaw mix, tossing to coat. Cover and refrigerate 4 hr. or overnight. Serves 8.
