Rosalie’s Berry-Cream Delight

This is one of those gorgeous desserts that wows ’em, every time! It’s tremendously simple to make, but tastes like it came from a gourmet restaurant. I cannot imagine a finer ending to a delicious Valentine’s Day dinner!

Rosalie’s Berry-Cream Delight:
Granulated sugar
Grand Marnier or orange brandy
Vanilla ice cream … all, in quantities as required
Lightly sugar fresh, sliced strawberries, adding a little Grand Marnier. Set aside. In a separate bowl, lightly sugar fresh or thawed raspberries. When sugar has fully dissolved, blenderize raspberries with a little Grand Marnier, combining with sliced strawberries. Chill and marinate 1 hr.
For each serving, place one scoop of ice cream into a dessert cup, ladling with berry mixture.
PS: Please, Dollinks! Even though this recipe feels like “summer,” it’s winter - as it is for so many of you - in the Time Zone and at the Latitude Where I Live. As you dash about to get these and other Valentine’s Day ingredients, drive with care!
